Butter is the thick one and it leaves more oil behind, which suits winter, shins and anything flaking. Lotion covers a whole leg in one pass and sinks in faster, which suits summer and arms. Both textures exist inside the same scent families, so changing one does not mean changing the other.
- Damp skin takes a moisturizer more easily than dry skin. Two minutes after the shower beats twenty.
- Volume is misleading. A 300 ml tub of butter outlasts a 500 ml bottle of lotion, because a thin layer is all that ever spreads properly.
- Body and face are not interchangeable. Facial skin is thinner and a body scrub is too coarse for it, which is the reason Face Soap and Clarity exists separately.
- Start one product at a time. Adding a scrub, a new butter and a face wash in the same week leaves nothing to blame when skin reacts.

I have been trying to fix my dry, rough heels for a while, and this moisturizing cream completely saved my feet. The formula is incredibly thick and rich, but it absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy mess all over my floors. It also has a really pleasant, clean scent that makes using it feel like a quick spa treatment right at home.

This is the BEST body exfoliating scrub I've used in my life so far. I don't even know where to start... the smell? Ugh, feels like a warm, cozy vibe. The almond and caramel scent.. after the shower you can still smell it. Smooth? YES. Super smooth, in fact. It doesn't dry out your skin or make it tight. It actually leaves your skin feeling moisturized. You'll want to use the scrub after you've been in the steam for a bit for the best results. But even without the steam it still does a decent job. I just really prefer steam. I usually use it in this order: Loofah, scrub, shave. It makes a huge difference to use before shaving and after you'll be SILKY buttery smooth. NO strawberry skin, just baby skin! I apply it with my hands I feel like its the best way, but be careful not to grab too much so you don't end up wasting the product, down the drain. This product overall is going to be a repetitive order for me. Might as well set a subscription at this point!

I usually don’t write reviews right when I receive my order, but I was so impressed and shocked with this lotion. I was not expecting it to smell so good. I was afraid it would be watery and I would have to use a lot, but this lotion goes a long way. It moisturizes your skin very well. It’s easy to apply, it spreads on your skin nice even though it’s not super thin. It smells expensive to me, I’m so glad I found this lotion!

Cleanse, then rinse properly
Body wash on wet skin, lathered, rinsed until the water runs clear. Residue left in the crook of an elbow is usually what itches later, not the formula itself.

Exfoliate only when texture asks for it
One to three scrubs a week covers most skin. Wet skin, light pressure, concentrated where it actually feels rough rather than spread over everything from the neck down.

Dragging a towel across freshly exfoliated skin undoes part of what you just did. Blotting costs about ten extra seconds.

Moisturize while skin is still damp
Butter on dry or flaking areas, lotion everywhere else. The couple of minutes after a shower is when either one travels furthest.

Hand Food after washing up, Heel Genius before bed. Coating the whole body in foot cream wastes foot cream and does nothing extra for the body.

A second product from the same family pushes the scent further. A second family competes with the first, and the mix rarely flatters either.
None of this has to happen daily. Wash and moisturize is the entire routine, and the rest is texture maintenance for the weeks when skin needs it.
Scent from a wash fades much faster than scent from a butter, since one rinses down the drain and the other stays put. If the fragrance is why you bought in, spend on the leave-on step.
Skin behaves differently in February than in July. A butter that feels right after a hot shower in winter can feel like far too much in a humid August.
